Goddesses Abound!

Goddesses abound in my first book. Growing up, my favorite stories were about powerful women that held the fate of the cosmos in their hands. What was most fascinating to me were their quirks, the small details that defined their character. I also enjoyed learning how they came to their power. What secret pacts had they made or how did they learn their craft?

Most goddesses are known for the armies they fought, or for their beauty and ability to cast charms over mortal men and women alike. The goddesses I wrote in my story can control the filaments within fields of glass, the strength of every foe they meet, and grant realm-ending spells.

When I found Sigyn in the Norse mythology, I knew I wanted to craft her story into my story in a way to make her so much more than just the wife of Loki. To me, she was full of mystery and magick! She was clever, a bit devious, and full of cosmos-changing potential!
